Removing Scratches from your Duravo Flexshell™

1. Assess the Scratch

2. Clean the Flexshell™

3. Use a Magic Eraser
• For minor scratches, try using a Magic Eraser. Wet the Magic Eraser and gently rub it over the scratch in a circular motion. Be careful not to apply too much pressure, as this could leave a dull area on the Flexshell™ material.
4. Use a Scratch Repair Kit
• For deeper scratches, you may need to use a scratch repair kit. These kits typically come with a variety of sanding pads and polishes. Similar to car scratch repair, start with a rough pad and progress to fine pads and polishes.  Follow the instructions included in the kit to remove the scratch.

Removing Scratches from the Wheels/Wheel Housing

1. Clean the Wheels and Wheel Housing
• Use a damp cloth or microfiber towel to clean the wheels and wheel housing of your luggage. This will remove any dirt or debris that could interfere with the scratch-removal process.
2. Use a Fine-Grit Sandpaper
• For minor scratches, try using fine-grit sandpaper. Wet the sandpaper and gently rub it over the scratch in a circular motion. Be careful not to apply too much pressure, as this could damage the wheels or wheel housing.
3. Use a Scratch Repair Kit
• For deeper scratches, you may need to use a scratch repair kit. These kits typically come with a variety of sanding pads and polishes. Follow the instructions included in the kit to remove the scratch.

• Use a Luggage Cover: A protective luggage cover can help shield your carry-on from scuffs and scratches, especially during rough handling at airports. Make sure to use one that’s sized specifically for carry-on suitcases.

• Be Cautious of Rough Surfaces: Avoid dragging your luggage on particularly rough or uneven surfaces when possible, as this can cause unnecessary damage to both the wheels and the FlexShell™.
• Regular Cleaning: Frequently cleaning your luggage after trips helps remove dirt and particles that can cause abrasion over time.
